Napbun Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and the publisher of Napbun, Cuong Do (individual developer). They cover the Napbun app and napbun.com. By using Napbun you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Your license
Napbun is licensed to you, not sold. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA") applies to your license to use the app: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two disagree about the license, the Standard EULA wins.
You may use Napbun for yourself and your family. Please don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app or its content, and don't use it to harm others or to break the law.
2. Napbun is not medical advice
Napbun is a planner and a log for parents. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not replace your pediatrician or any other health professional.
- Sleep suggestions, routines and changes to try are general information. They are not advice for your baby in particular.
- The result of a change you try describes what happened in your baby's logged nights. It can't tell you why, and it can be wrong, including when the answer is "not conclusive yet".
- If you are worried about your baby's health, breathing, feeding or development, call your pediatrician. If your baby has stopped breathing, is turning blue or gray, is limp or very hard to wake, or you think it's an emergency, call your local emergency number right away.
- If you feel low, exhausted or overwhelmed, talk to your doctor or a local support line.
3. Safe sleep
Napbun's safe sleep reminders follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) safe sleep recommendations of 2022. In short, the AAP advises that for every sleep a baby:
- sleeps on their back
- sleeps on their own flat, firm sleep surface, such as a crib or bassinet, with nothing else in it
- shares the parents' room but not the same bed
- is not left to sleep on a sofa or armchair
- is dressed in no more than one layer more than an adult would wear to be comfortable
Please read the full guidance at healthychildren.org and follow your pediatrician's advice. The reminders in Napbun can't cover every situation. You are the one who checks that your baby's sleep space is safe. Sounds should be played at a low volume, with the device placed away from the crib.
4. Napbun Plus and subscriptions
Napbun is free to download. Logging, Night Help, safe sleep information, your results and your first change to try are free. Napbun Plus adds more changes to try, nap rhythm and guided steps.
- Billing. Napbun Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, available as a yearly or a monthly subscription. The price for your country is shown on the purchase screen and in the App Store before you confirm. The charge goes to your Apple Account.
- Free trial. The yearly subscription may include a 14-day free trial for people who haven't used a trial before. The purchase screen shows the date the first charge happens. The monthly subscription has no free trial. If you don't see a trial on the purchase screen, you aren't eligible for one.
- Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and the renewal charge is the price shown to you, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancel. You can cancel any time. Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Napbun and tap Cancel. You can also open the subscription screen from Napbun's Settings. If you cancel during a free trial, you keep Plus until the trial ends and aren't charged. If you cancel a paid period, you keep Plus until that period ends.
- Restore. If you've bought Plus before, tap "Restore purchases" on the purchase screen, or in Settings.
- Refunds. Apple handles payments and refunds. Ask Apple for a refund from your Apple Account's purchase history. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
- Price changes. If we change a price, Apple tells you and asks for your consent where the law requires it.
- What stays free. If something is free in Napbun today, we won't move it behind Plus.
5. Your information
How we handle information is described in the Privacy Policy. Your baby's sleep log is yours. It stays on your devices and in your iCloud, and you can export or delete it in Settings, under "Your data".
You are responsible for keeping your device and Apple Account secure. Please only enter information you have the right to enter.
6. Our content
The app, its text, drawings, sounds and design belong to us or to our licensors. Articles and reminders cite their public sources where they apply. You may not copy or reuse them outside the app, except for the exports and PDFs the app gives you for your own family and your health professionals.
7. Availability and changes
We try to keep Napbun working, but we can't promise it will always be available or error free. The app depends on Apple services such as iCloud, and these can be slow or unavailable. We may change, add or remove features. We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and if the change is important, we'll tell you in the app. If you keep using Napbun after a change, you accept the new terms.
8. Limits of our responsibility
Napbun is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will meet your needs, that its results are right for your baby, or that it will improve your baby's sleep.
To the extent the law allows:
- We aren't responsible for decisions you make about your baby's care or sleep. Those decisions are yours and your health professionals'.
- We aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost time or lost income.
- Our total responsibility to you for any claim about Napbun is limited to the amount you paid us for Napbun in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that can't be limited, or responsibility for things the law doesn't let us exclude.
9. Ending
You can stop using Napbun at any time by deleting the app. You can delete your data first in Settings, under "Your data". We may suspend access if someone uses the app in a way that breaks these terms or the law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If the law of the country where you live gives you consumer rights that these terms cannot take away, those rights stay.
